A103: An Introduction to the Humanities
Amongst the riches in this course are two weeks in which you are taught how to read and understand pictures.

 

A207: From Enlightenment to Romanticism
This covers the arts and general culture during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century. It touches on the Romantics attitude to landscape, with further study of the painters of the period.

 

A216: Art and its Histories
This a a general introduction to Art History, that covers a wide range of paintings and other artefacts, from the Renaisance to the present day.
