Start Writing in Fiction,

- all three short courses are offered on-line and provide
an introduction to the basic ‘tools of the trade’
you will need to master the art of writing.
A177 Shakespeare: An Introduction - a short course which explores two of Shakespeare’s best known and most popular plays, The Taming of the Shrew and Romeo and Juliet, taking account of language, themes, historical context and the different ways in which the plays can be performed.
A103 An Introduction to the Humanities - a nine-month course which provides the recommended route for degree study in the Arts generally and alongside literature offers an introduction to other disciplines such as art history, music, philosophy, classical studies, history, religious studies and the history of science and technology.
