How has the coast changed? Find out through old photographs

The Open University with the BBC organised a series of six regional events associated with the series. Each event took place at a coastal location and gave the opportunity to the public to take part in a presentation and guided walk and to talk with experts about their own experiences of coastal Britain.

The theme of the events was change. To highlight this there was a viewing at each location of postcards from the past. These were compared with contemporary views of the location and the changes discussed and debated.
